Coffee Planet And Our Community

As one of the region’s first and most experienced specialty coffee roasters, we are acutely aware of the impact we have on our planet.

Over the years, we have worked hard on being an ethical and responsible coffee company, working with UTZ coffee and the Rainforest Alliance and using sustainability and innovation as a key driver to become better roasters and suppliers.

We are proud that every cup of our 100% Arabica coffee served is of the highest quality; ethically sourced, locally roasted here in Dubai and with sustainability at its core.

So, it gives me great pleasure to introduce our new 100% biodegradable & compostable capsules.  We have two exquisite single origins, the organic Peru Satipo and the Brazil Sul de Minas.  Additionally, we have our ever-popular French medium roast and Italian dark roast available too.  They are available in all good supermarkets and online for delivery.

However, this is where it gets important.  Here at Coffee Planet, our passion and livelihoods are deeply connected to Mother Earth and her incredible biodiversity and we are always looking for ways to become better at protecting and restoring earth’s biodiversity whilst ensuring sustainable livelihoods for the entire coffee community.

Recent research shows that forest restoration isn’t just one of the climate change solutions available to us, it is overwhelmingly the top one, in terms of positive impact and consequence.

Therefore, through our partnership with The Eden Reforestation Project, we commit to planting a tree every time someone buys a box of our new biodegradable capsules.

That’s right – you get to enjoy freshly roasted 100% Arabica coffee at home and the earth gets more trees. Win Win for everyone.

I’d love to hear what you think of our new capsules, and look forward to sharing more updates on this important initiative with you in the future.
